MS Add-ins to do multi-line PO

How to map MS-Addins for a 63 line PO? I am using MS Add-ins 10.0.6 and we are :

LSF 10.0.8

Apps 10.0.6

Unix Aix 7.1

Oracle 12c

There has to be a way just not sure how without mapping each line field. Seems to be me I saw something on this before but could not find anything on Lawson support.

Hey,

There should be a "position too" field identifying within the query builder screen in Add-ins. For example, in PO20, if you're trying to modify a 60 line PO, you can identify each line by using the _f31 ,PT-PLI-LINE-NBR field identifier in the list.

Is that what you're looking for? Any form like PO20, RQ10, RQ04 that uses multiple lines to hold unique records within the overall record (IE PO, Req or Requester ID), there is typically a "position too" identify individual lines within the form.

Right. If you're adding lines to a PO you just need to map Company, PO Number, FC=A, Item Number, and Quantity. Most other fields should default in depending on your setups. But if you're changing lines you need to map Company, PO Number Postition-to Line Number, FC=C, and whatever field you want to change.

OK-k-not sure I got it. Do you mind looking at my spreadsheet? I Jon tells me the FC=A but not sure I am grasping. I us uploads all the time for IC11,12, PO13, PO25. but I am struggling with this. The 1st line of the PO is done.

No problem, for ease, let's just say all you need to change is the qty on all lines of a PO

You would map:
Column A: Company to _f4, PCR-COMPANY
Column B: PO Number to _f12,PCR-PO-NUMBER
Column C: PO Code to _f14,PCR-PO-CODE
Column Line Nbr to _f31,PT-PLI-LINE-NBR
Column E: Line FC to _f214,LINE-FC1
Column F: Quantity to _f217,PLI-QUANTITY1

The Company, PO number and PO code will ensure you are acting upon a unique PO. the PT-PLI-LINE-NBR is what is used to identify the unique line within that PO. All you have to provide is the line number on the PO. Column E is your Action (add, change delete etc.) and then column F is the value you are changing. In this case, line quantity.
