MM280

Hi - our reimbursement department needs the breakdown of department supply usage and they have used the MM280 in the past and entered everything manually from the PDF. Does anyone have a solution for getting the MM280 in excel or csv format or are you using Addins to pull the information from the tables. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tammy,

When you run the MM280, you should be able to locate the file dump in your print manager. Once you double click on it, typically Lawson will auto open a PDF (at least it does for us). Just close the PDF, then you should have an option to "Create CSV File". It's usually a button within the Lawson window.

This is how we are able to export it to an Excel document that is much easier to manipulate as needed. Hope this helps.

Here is a screenshot of the basic print manager layout for us... the "Create CSV File" should export the information into Excel for you.

Hi John - Thank you for responding and yes I have created the report as a CSV but the issue we have is that it is not pulling the cost amounts per line when it is converted. I am only getting the total cost not the item expense per line for each account/account unit. Does this make sense?

Hey, sorry for the delay. What version of Lawson are you on? We're currently on version 10, and the MM280 returns the unit cost per line item for us. However, when we were on version 9 of Lawson, we were experiencing some problems with the MM280.

I just ran the MM280 and it returned the unit cost when it was available for the line items.

Hi John - we are on Lawson 10.5. The CSV is not showing the line by line unit cost only a total. Can I send me just a few lines of your CSV to compare? wieset2@agnesian.com
