Hi, we’ve had a few sites of late have some strange issues with decimal places. Its only really started to happen in the last few weeks & I was wondering if anyone else out there has been experiencing anything similar?
On one site, we have a company S & a company R. Its only happening in company R, & only “now & then”, which as you can imagine is difficult to pin down. They have say a 20 line sales order. They convert this to a deliver note pressing F9 & enter the qtys. Then a few days later it is invoiced & the value which was originally say £20k has turned into £200m! When you interrogate the tables, you can see why – the original A line is fine with an item price of 76, but the X line has exploded to 760000, which in turn affects the line value etc. Strangely the cost price remains the same/correct

The end user doesn’t notice this & they convert this to an invoice. If you restore their data & perform the same conversion in house, we don’t get the same issue. They can process transactions all day long, using the same stock items etc without issue. Then a few days later, Bang, they get this problem & we’re struggling with what to suggest.
Weve had a second site that’s had similar issues to this, but with variances. E.g the VAT has been calculated at 20% on the A line, but 2000% on the X line. The A lines qty has remained at say 12, but the X line has a qty of 1200
Just wondered if anyone else has experienced similar issues of late?
Kind regards
James
