BN105 - Will dependents remain linked to plans?

I am going to run the BN105 to update premiums/add records for 1/1/17. We just started maintaining dependents and linking covered individuals on BN32. Will covered individuals be linked to the new records created with 1/1/17? If they won't be is there a separate program to get those updated? (We already loaded Open Enrollment records and are now doing the BN105 to catch all of those individuals who didn't go through OE and are making no changes to coverage.)

The short answer is Yes the BN105 will re-enroll anyone with an open benefit and it will reattach the dependents who are attached. However you need to be sure that you identify any dependents who are going to age off eligibility because those employee's coverage options may need to be updated based on dependents dropping off enrollments. The BN105 will not "reenroll" any employee records if there is not a change to the Premium or Coverage options.

Is this a new functionality? This did not happen last year when we ran our BN105. NONE of our dependents enrolled where brought over to the 2017 plan!

It's not new. Just to clarify we are on S3 not GHR. I have worked with the BN105 for 15 years and it has always re-enrolled the employees and any attached dependents that do not have stop dates. So if you ran the BN105 but your employee's or dependents had stop dates prior to the effective date of the changes you are trying to push out then no it wouldn't enroll them or the dependents.

Happy to report when the BN105 was run it kept the dependents attached to the 1/1/17 record.
