LP not accruing for pay period ending 12/31/16

Our various LP groups did not accrue for the last payroll of the year 2016 which is 12/18/16 to 12/31/16.  This is the first payroll of 2017.  An example is one of our groups has an annual balance accrual of 240 hours.  During the time period above certain employees did not accrue even though this is the first payroll of 2017.  Our reset date is 1/1.  How anyone come across this and how can we fix this within the system since this will be an issue next year also.

Look at your Accrual rule and eligibility rules. What kind of accruals are setup. Is it an annual ? every payroll? Each of these LP groups you mentioned may have differences on each one. Your reset date is important as to when to allow the first accrual to happen. This limits the employee from accruing until after the 01/01 date. These accrual is based on the date you enter on your LP140.
