Delete Deduction tied to Benefit

We found several odd cases where 2 deductions were created for a 401k contribution. We are trying to stop/delete one of the deductions but it will not let us because it is tied to a benefit. Any tips on how (if) this can be done?

We've had similar situations - due to a PR39 entry under the wrong deduction code. We haven't been able to delete the PR14 so we just removed all of the Xs from the deduction cycles. Not ideal but at least the deduction is no longer taken from the pay check.

Were they created just recently? Since loading some recent CTPs, we had company match deductions duplicated. When people enter via PR39 we have been able to just enter a stop date because the seq number on the deduction is a 0 and not filled in with a number associating it with benefits.

Was this part of the ACA YE CTP's that caused this?

I believe it was the CTP113686 that was released just prior to that. It included the new BN929 to correct BN29 records. We can't load the ACA YE CTPs to production yet because the BN149 goes into needs recovery when run in update mode for initial measurement period.
