Looking at the year-end parameters for an entity that came on in 2016. They have a 403b plan that funds employer base contributions made without EE contributions after a certain length of service. Do I need to add the just the ER Base Contribution deduction code to the PR27 WR topic "Retirement Ded Code"? If I put the deduction in that field and an EE is not eligible yet to receive the base contributions but is contributing out of their paychecks will the Retirement box still be checked or will the Retirement Ded Code box trump what is in the payroll application? Is it safest to do a Retirement Ded Group?
