ESS and MSS - anyone using Design Studio?

We are looking at rolling out Manger Self Service and more options with Employee Self Service. Has anyone used Design Studio, or other products/vendors, to make MSS and ESS more user friendly? If so what/who?

Hi Nicole. Design Studio was created to work with the XML application forms, EMSS is written in HTML and JavaScript. So Design Studio cannot be used to modify EMSS tasks. I'm not sure about other products…

Yes, I just found that out. Still curious if people are using other products or vendors with ESS/MSS.

Also, if people are using Design Studio for different HR forms on the XML forms. I've seen examples with AP, but nothing for HR/Benefits.

Not probably exactly what you are asking, but you can update the message text in the messages files ( such as %WEBDIR%lawsonxhrnetxmllangenusessmsgs.xml) to better match your requirements. I have even put html code in the message text to add links to documents, etc. A word of caution, though...these files are overwritten with EMSS patches, so make sure to save a copy before applying and then reenter your updates after applying.
