Way to remove Notifications link or turn off Notifications in IPA Inbasket display?

We are new to Infor10/IPA. In the upper right hand corner of the end users inbasket display is a drop down button for 'Unread Notifications'. The end users don't find the notifications in there useful and don't want to see them.

1) Is there a way to remove that link to the 'Unread Notifications'.

2) Is there a way to stop sending the notifications. It appears they are coming from Process Automation. Maybe I missed the location where you can turn off sending notifications.

Any help is appreciated.

I asked this of Infor back in 2015. The answer was no. However, if someone did come up with a trick, I am also all ears.

I have never tried to remove the entire notification link itself ...

But you can disable IPA related Landmark Notifications, by adding the following record:

1. LRC >Start>Applications>Process Server Administrator > Configuration > System Configuration

2. Open the "system" configuration

3. On the properties tab add or update the existing property

Name = disableUserNotifications

Value = true

I can't remember if you need to restart Process Flow after this or not ... I think not. But if you are still getting them from IPA, recycle the LPA node.

I will let you know tomorrow if this works. I made the change without restarting PF and no change. Still receive the notifications. I will not be able to restart PF until late this evening.

I added the disableUserNotifications = true setting and it worked perfectly. I did not need to recycle my LPA node. Thank you so much Russel.
