CTP 114596 indicates a change was made to BN27.1's Employer Other Options (R4), Employee Address Format is to supersede the Regulatory Address Format on HR00. Can someone explain the relationship between these two? The HR00 flag controls the order in which Address Line 1 and Address Line 2 print while the BN27 flag controls whether you use the Home or Supplemental address on the 1095-C.
We've applied the CTP and see no difference in how the address is displayed on the 1095-C other than flipping the address line 1 & 2. It is still pulling the home address like we indicate on BN27.1.
I'm not sure what the CTP is supposed to be superseding. If anyone has additional information, I'd appreciate your thoughts. I'm concerned I'm missing something which could affect the paper or electronic files.
