Is anyone else using the monthly measurement method for ACA, with the updated BN149 / BN49 forms for 2016 reporting? I was excited that there was actually a process for doing this, as opposed to last year, but I just discovered a major flaw (I think). For some reason, on BN49, it shows the hours an employee worked for a certain month but then it shows a 'Stability Period' for the next month...and it looks like it is giving the next month the eligibility determination, when it should be the month that the hours were worked in. So, if 150 hours were worked in January, then January should show as Eligible, but Lawson is making February show as Eligible instead. When I run BN990 to create the IRS codes, it is making eligibility determinations a month off, totally wrong!
If anyone has any insight on this, that would be great. Thanks!
