Format of Link to inbasket, in email, to all task users

Hi-

I am trying to send an email to all users of a specific task, Buyer, with a link that they can click on to get to their inbasket. I was able to do this in v9 without having to include their user profile. The link would take them to their Buyer inbasket. In v10, I cannot figure out how to get the link to take them to their buyer inbasket.

Here is what I have. The hard coded user profile is in red. This link works but I cannot hard code the user profile. It needs to come from the pfiUserTask (I believe) Thanks!

We allow them to see and approve their requisitions directly from their email. If they wish to go to their inbasket our link just sends them to the Portal page.

Looking at your code example, if configuration.main is pointed to your S3 server, I believe you need to point to Landmark server to get direct access to the inbasket. Inbasket now actually lives on the Landmark server.

Yes, I know it's on the landmark server. The link works if I hard code the user, but I need it to auto populate from my email IPA node that sends to the task. Configuration main is on our landmark server.

This is what we have, but we have the email in the UserAction. They are still required to login first and then it takes them to their My Work section.

I am not sure why you would need to put the Buyer in the link. Using Rich Client we assign the user to a task and then we assign a filter key with a value so that when they get to the MyWork section they will only see items to approve that relate to the task and filter. So for instance we have user muser1 assigned to task Level1 and a filter key of Req Loc that has the value 9230 (Requesting Location) assigned to it. When they log in they are taken to the MyWork section and they only see requisitions for Requesting Location 9230.

We do something similar with a direct link from the email to their inbasket. It was a challenge to format it going from V9 to V10. We pass the inbasket as a variable "InBasket" and include the workunit number.

To have a link to go directly to the inbasket without a specific workunit we were not able to do that either, but we do have that option with the user-id in it.
