I'm running the BN299s out of our TEST system, and I'm trying to validate the files. I downloaded the most recent schema files from the IRS, and have followed all the same steps from last year. However, I'm getting an error in the Manifest that my Unique Tranmission ID is invalid (blank), and I don't remember running across that error last year. I cannot seem to tease out where this field is pulling from after looking at the mapping documents for BN299. I feel like I'm missing something small.
Has anyone successfully validated their files yet?
