V10 EMSS Navigation via Portal

I was wondering if anyone has figured out about creating a menu sidebar and rendering the EMSS screens in a main screen on EMSS when running it via Portal outside of Ming.le.

We have more than 3500 employees who just access EMSS to see there paychecks, maintain contact information, maintain W4, sign-up for benefits, etc.. They use EMSS about once a month and having them figure out how to navigate the book marks is going to be really really cumbersome.

Any insight or documentation on how this is structured would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply but I'm not sure if that helps me. We're accessing EMSS through:

https:<Server-Name>/lawson/portal/index.htm

They get presented with the URL in a Portal Wrapper defined in the users role. I'm looking for information on creating a page for that URL which would be more similar to what the users see in V9. Which has sidebar navigation and renders what they select in the side bar in the main window.

For what it is worth, we were concerned about that but we haven't had issues. We updated our documentation and communicated the changes.

I would second Margie. We thought it was the end of the world, but we put together a small graphic showing how to navigate and all of our users use the full Ming.le framework to get in without issues.

I'm get ready to implement ESS and extend MSS. Any documentation you developed for the employees and you're willing to share would be appreciated.

We bypass the Portal for employees that just need access to ESS or MSS. It still requires them to login.

Hello,

We are in our first implementation of the system, which gives us an advantage that users will not know any other way. However, like some posters below, we are having ESS accessed through Ming.le. It seems like we have the same amount of users. We are implementing GHR. I am happy to share training docs.
