ACA Errors file

Our file was Accepted with Errors which is what we expected. When looking at the details of the errors it appears all of them are listed twice. Is this normal? Wondering why this is or if there are really 2 errors on the identified individuals. All of the errors are associated with Error Message 1095C-010-01 and 1095C-039-01, both of which deal with Name and SSN not matching the IRS database. Any help is appreciated!!!

One error refers to the employee's record and one refers to the covered individual's record - employee is also a covered individual.

We found this error as well. One does refer to the employee information while the other refers to the covered dependent. It means that the information on their social security card on file with IRS doesn't match the information in Lawson HR13. (ie. changed their last name in Lawson but didn't update their social security card).

We won't change employee names without a new SS card because of filing W-2s. But an interesting thing about these 2 files is that W-2s get filed to SSA but 1094s to IRS. An IRS rep told me last year it had to do with what was in IRS records which differs from SSA.

Not sure how you could ever keep up with the 2 agencies.

Do you know if we need to send a corrected file to IRS with these types of errors? Our file was accepted with errors and those are the only errors we have.
