Add questions to Supplemental Address / Phone to allow employees to opt in/out of text messages

We ask caregivers to update their cell phones on Lawson, but we also want to ask them do they opt in to text messages. If anyone else doing this? If so, can you share how?

We don't do it for caregivers but for those that wish to opt in to receive text messages, we created a TEXT type phone on HR20 and added a custom Design Studio Screen to ESS to allow them to update 4 different phone numbers, 2 on HR11 and 2 on HR20.

Sounds like a good idea but we currently allow capture of just two phone numbers. We define work number as primary number and home/address phone as secondary phone number.

We do a process similar to jreese.

jreese - I thought Design Studio couldn't be used to change ESS (at least that's what I was told). Am I missing something?

You can't modify a screen with Design Studio but you can change the button to launch a Design Studio screen rather than the ESS screen.

We customized the Life event Move screen in ESS to add 2 additional phone numbers to HR20 and added the text message there.
