TM Version 11 Question - Is anyone using Work Type to define Employees

We are setting up our Version 11 environment.  We would like to set it up as follows:

Relationship to Org            Relationship Status         Work Type

EMPLOYEE                         ACTIVE                          FT

EMPLOYEE                         LEAVE                            PT

 

Our issue is that we can start process automations through actions defined for changes on Relationship to Org and Relationship Status but we can't kick anything off for changes to Work Type.

 

Has anyone else run into this?

Hi! We are on v. 10 but also have our resources set up this way in TM. Since a Work Type change is typically associated with a change in FTE/hours worked, we use the Promote action for our Work Type changes. We repurposed the Promote action to be used for all work assignment changes (i.e. supervisor change, FTE change, and position change). Through configuration console, we added the Work Type field to the action form. I hope this is helpful!
