PO Feedback File

Is anyone creating a feedback file for third party applications like ParExcellence or Qsight requisitions orders? Where and how is that done please?

We do both of these. I looked back at my notes for the setup of Par Exc. As I recall, Par Exc was very helpful in getting this set up.

Steps I did to create file:

1. Ran RQ500 for Par Exc interface order file

The RQ500 line records have 'RQsrc Machine' (pos 587-592) populated

with 'PAREXC'' and 'Par Order ID' (pos 593-612) populated with the order number.

2. Ran PO100

3. PO30- received one of the POs that was created in PO100. Upon release of the

receiver, the receiving interface file was created in

\chslwterpD$lsfdevlaw estinterface100-HMWIV-0000109950-R.TMP

4. File created gets transferred back to Par Exc and it is processed



For Par Exc, I also have a note that I had to update the ICIFBCSV file that is associated w/ PO30. This is to format the output file with or without a header etc.

This would be in workdef, at a command prompt. The file is a global file, so type in

your productline, then arrow down to file name, enter ICIFBCSV, hit tab, then arrow to

Value/WsFld, F6, B.Define File attributes. Make the appropriate changes.
