Security Configuration for Data menu

Is there a way to give access to a couple business classes only accessible from the data menu and restrict the rest of the data menu?

I added access to the data area for datamenu, access to the module which contains the two business classes and access to the two business classes. How do I prevent the user from seeing/accessing the rest of the data under all the other modules on the data menu??

The two business classes I want someone to access are PfiXrefCode and PfiXrefValue under the PFI Module.

Actually, I'm working on something similar. I'm trying to give one person access to do inquires on all employees, but only certain fields.



I just completed copying the DataMenuAccess_ST to a new name (we use _HMC) on the end to know it's our custom security class. I then went to the "custom" security class I created and under Module I selected, one by one, the Securable Object, added it, selected Not Accessible for all actions and saved. There were 28 total (ex: compensation, person etc. with what we have. I then signed in as a test user that I assigned that security class to under the role and the "modules" were still listed under the Data listing, but when selecting them there was never any data to see, yet I can see under my own access. Not sure if this is the best route, but hope it helps.

I would like to remove them from the Data list itself for that user, but not sure how to. If you have any ideas on that, please let me know.
