Creating 834 vender files with IPA

Hello,

We are looking at moving our benefits from S3 to TM this fall and believe we will have to replace our process of creating vender files (Health, Vision, Dental) which currently is done using the BN106 and then final formatting through a custom program.  I am new to our company and  IPA and exploring options on how best to accomplish this.   Each of the vender seem to have there own file format requirements,  only the health is in HIPPA 834 format. 

Is IPA an appropriate technology for generating and formatting these files ?

 

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

hoping to bring this to the top - we've been dealing with modifying and trying to get our IPAs correct to send to Health, vision and dental.   I would have imagined Infor to have a script that already worked with these national vendors and their requirements but we've had to modify heavily our own flows.    How does everyone generate their 834 files to send?   i'm wondering if we've been working against the flow when there is a better solution.
