Installing LMRK Rich Client on Citrix

Hello everyone,

Has anyone successfully deployed the LMRK Rich Client via Citrix? We're implementing the Financial Suite and would like our users to access the Rich Client via Citrix to leverage a single instance instead of installing it on every user machine.

I will be interested in these replies as when we went live last year, we were NOT able to get Rich Client to work in Citrix.

And being local install per client, the shortcut breaks every time we get Java updates pushed to our pcs.. have to change the path on the shortcut.

Yes - we distribute the Rich Client over XenApps and through VDI. Works like a charm. However, each time you take a landmark update, you will have to update the Citrix.

Could you provide some details on how you got the app to be available for all users since it looks to be installing under individual system admin account only.

I only see it under C:Users<Admin User>AppDataRoaming...

When other users log into the VDI they don't see the Rich Client shortcut.

How where you able to deploy.

We aren't using the Rich Client on Citrix, rather, we use the HTML web applet for Citrix. Is there really a need for the Rich Client? We have 8 Core Team members needing to switch between the data areas so they have Rich Client on their PC's. The general population has access via Citrix with the HTML Web Applet.
