PO140 Receiving Release and Print

I am in the process of testing PO140 and I am able to get the PO to release but I am unable to get the MSCM ticket to print or the Lawson ticket to print. My settings for the job are as follows:

Current user: Y

Release Receivers: Y

Print Backorders: N

Print Tickets: B

Updated Arrival for MSCM tracking: Y

Is there another setting in another screen for the printer that I am missing? My default printer is set in User options. Thanks!

I tried using that right when it came out and had some issues as I was trying to use it with EDI receipts. I think they created a MA531 patch to get this to work. Are you trying to do something similar? Do the receipts release and print if you set current user to N?

Yes, That is what we are trying to do. I did try a test PO with the user set to N and was unsuccessful. I see that KB 1895063 is referenced for a similar issue but I'm not sure if this the required patch.

I was given JT-1025999 by support for this issue on v10 apps. We didn't end up taking it because we don't have a large number of EDI receipts that need to go to MSCM yet and the patch caused a huge recompile we've been trying to avoid.

We use Current User set to N. MA531 set to Create Unreleased Receivers. The printing is all driven by MSCM setup. If delivery doc printing for the location is turned off then it will not print. Also we use an ADMIN type user capable of processing EDI files and has full ADMIN access in MSCM.

I do not know if you are new to using MSCM for delivery documents, but you may want to make sure that the arrival folder on the MSCM server is there and that there are no errors.

No we use MSCM regularly for delivery documents. They print just fine when you release from PO30. The issue here, is that I am attempting to automate this by utilizing PO140, however the PO's all release but the MSCM document with the barcode does not print for some reason. I can easily go to MSCM and print the document but that defeats the purpose of using PO140. My understanding is that the "Print Tickets" flag should allow this printing. The admin ID was used in testing but it still did not work. Has anyone successfully received the printed MSCM delivery document using PO140?

Make sure that your settings on MA531 are set to N to release the receiver. The PO140 needs to do the release and print function to create the delivery document.

Yes, MA531 is set to N. djechevarr- have you successfully run a PO140 and had the MSCM barcode document print out as part of the process?

If you are using MSCM, the PO140 should run automatically upon receiving. Do your PO lines all have source? A MSCM delivery document will not print on PO lines with no source.
