Smart Recon slow

We recently upgraded  to Smart Recon SMR_10000516 and Smart Recon is VERY slow.  Has anyone else had this issue?

It takes a bit to load initially but seems okay after that. We started at this version so don't know any better. When you say slow, how long does it take?
