MSS - Personal Actions - TERMALL

Hi,

My name is Angie and I work for Fairview Health Services.  We are currently on V9 but are in the process of upgrading to V10.  We have been using MSS for our leaders to process terminations for the past few years.  We have had many instances where leaders are entering the wrong Status code, forgetting the Termination Date etc.  We want to explore other options to on the form to require certain fields and possibly hardcode/default the status to T1.  Does anyone have any ideas of what they do and how their set up works?  Thanks!

We have customized MSS for the termination personnel action to default the Effective Date of the action as the Termination Date and our term status code also defaults. The supervisor does not need to enter a status code. We still have issues with them using the wrong date as the effective date (i.e. they enter the 1st day the employees is no longer active rather than their last day of employment even though we've added text to the screen explaining what date to use). It has, however, avoided the issue of the Effective Date and Termination Date being two different dates.
