Upgrade to V10 or V11 on premise

Is anyone upgrading to either v10 or 11 and will not have the upgrade completed before the end of the year?  We are wondering how other companies are dealing with the lack of year end patches for v9.0.1.

They probably will have one, but you'll have to buy the extended v9 support to get it. We've been in the situation before.
