Requestors locating PO balances/status

Our requestors utilize RQC for requisition creation. Through requisition status they are able to see the PO number that was created for each line of a requisition, but through drill around they are not able to see invoice information, and can not find a remaining balance for the PO.

Our requestors have very limited security, basically they have access to RQC and that is it. Is anyone aware of a way for our requestor's to obtain open PO balances through RQC and even possibly see what invoices have been applied to a PO?

We give some users access to a report via LBI. They must enter both the vendor number and the PO number to run the report - this keeps users from just "poking around" at PO numbers. The report exports directly to Excel. I dummied up some data to give you an idea of what it looks like.

AVAAP has a product for sale called Requistion Dashboard that is fairly robust and can be tied to the RQC User security. In v10 there's a contextual application - Requisition to Payment but it requires navigating in mingle to RQ10/PO20. Not a "click and done" screen or report.

I would consider opening up the PO220 report to them. You can use a security role to lock them down to their AUs. It shows what was ordered, what has been received, and what has been matched.

We don't lock down reports or inquiry screens in core Lawson. All requesters have full inquiry access all the way to the PO20 and PO30.

Hi Sara - when you say Through requisition status - are you talking about the Status bookmark on the RQC menu or are you talking about the Inquire button inside of RQC.

Because in Requisition --> Status, users can see the PO number

and when they click the PO, the Drill Around show them PO Status and Invoices for a PO.

Status will confirm how many lines are closed.
