Landmark Data copy

We are migrating windows 2008 r2 to windows 2012 r2 and are using MS Sql database. all of the versions s3, landmark, mscm etc. are staying the same. our struggle is data. we have over 700GB of landmark data. we were planning to export lmrk data using daexport but that would take almost 3 days just to export data from landmark which has ltm, procurement, financial and IPA.

my questions are

how are others doing data copy?

is there a way to do sql data dump from current prod to new prod ?

3 days to copy 700GB is just not feasible to do cut over and go live over the weekend. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds like an Infor Xtreme support question.

As long as the versions are all same and installations are the same (i.e. file directory structure), from a windows engineering perspective it should work. Possible gotchas are the actual server names like you mentioned: Landmark and SQL Server, (LSF too?). Or are you using aliased names?

LSF is also being upgraded to win 2012, lsf versions are staying the same so we could do sql data copy from current to new without trouble but Landmark we are not sure on.

From the techEd, I came to know, that landmark is not a straight forward, copy, even if all the versions are the same. If and when you get an answer, I will be interested to know too. thanks

All you need to do is delte your work units or move to hisotry that will reduce the Space and you can do refresh
