Is it possible to overwrite the "actor" field in the Employee Journal table?
We have a file importing from our timekeeping (Kronos) system that contains comments from the manager of an employee.
When we load the file into the Employee Journal table using spreadsheet designer, the user who uploads the spreadsheet becomes the "actor" in the record which prohibits the original manger to edit the comments in the table at a later date. I also tested this using IPA hardcoding the "actor" field which was overwritten with my username.
We would like to write an IPA that inserts the username of the original author of the comment into the actor field. Is this possible or will Lawson always put the username of whoever runs the IPA or uploads the spreadsheet (via ISD) into the actor field?
