We are re-implementing Image Now (Kofax) to use the OCR capture. One issue our AP Director was wanting to address was invoices coming in with tax that should have been non-taxable. Image Now believes other Lawson customers use Lawson to identify these invoices. I do not know of a way to automate this with standard Lawson functionality. Does someone perform this function in Lawson and if so, how? Or, is anyone using a customization or third party vendor (like Vertex) to perform a similar function?
We have numerous hospitals, physician groups, etc. that are taxable. We do have a direct pay permit on several entities.
I was tasked with trying to research before asking the vendor (Kofax) for a reference.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
