Mass activation of existing accounts to accounting units

Our organization is making changes to their income statement supply accounts. They are merging some existing accounts into other existing accounts. Some of the accounting units do not have the accounts activated. They are in built for their department but have not been activated. Does anyone have an idea as to what is the simplest way to mass activate? Thank you in advance to your assistance with this.

Same as jhuffman; we do this often whether it is changing mass statuses to Active or Inactive. We have queries written to pull various AU/account combinations so as long as you know what the accounts are, you can pull all of them all at once with a query and then just upload the output through add-ins.

Hi - would you be able to share your upload format that you used? I have been working with INFOR also and they have suggested using GL121. Are you familiar with this program?

I have looked at the GL121, but I don't see where it activates existing accounts... Infor knows a lot more than I do. I would be happy to share my upload file for the GL20.2. I'll send you a message via your profile.

We use the GL121 to activate accounts to accounting units. If you do not already have all of the accounts you want activated to a list of units, you can take one unit and in GL20 activate all that you need...then use the GL121 to copy to a range or ranges of units...and if you already have them activated, then just proceed using the GL121 program. on the copy from tab you identify the unit/accounts you want copied, then on the Copy to tab you fill in the range of units you want them copied/activated to.
