Company paid deductions tied to benefit plans

Does anyone know of a way to have more than one company paid deduction on a benefit plan? We currently have the company cost of medical and pharmacy in one deduction but need to split out the pharmacy portion.  On the deduction tab on the B15 there are only 3 options for deductions pre-tax, after-tax and company.  We need two for company.

Couple options: First, do you need the deduction to display separately on Pay stubs? If no: You could use The Additional Accounts (PR05.6) button on PR05 to split the cost between 2 accounts.

If yes: I don't believe there is a delivered Infor way of providing this, so what you could do: Create the one deduction on the BN15. Then before you process Payroll on PR140 each cycle, have a Process flow run that validates that every employee that has the Benefit also has this secondary deduction for the plan. If I were to setup the flow, I would go through each employee that is Active (or has Time Records depending on your need) and check if This Benefit exists for them, then if they have the appropriate deduction. Take the necessary action (add or change deduction) on PR14. I would also verify at the same time if an employee doesn't have the benefit or if the benefit stopped, that the Deduction was stopped or deleted.



We do something similar where we run a flow to keep 2 benefits in Sync (Employer match Max contribution against 2 DC plans) and it works pretty slick.
