LP Plan

In LP02.1 we have an Absence Plan set up for our CTO Plan which allows all employees to accrue vacation time etc... we have a limit rule set on the plan of 500 so employees cannot accrue more than 500 hours. However, we want to allow a few of our employees to accrue more than the 500 hours, is there a way to set this up without having to duplicate the CTO Plan and create a new limit rule of 700 hours just for a few employees?

Any information you can provide is appreciated.

You can build a new rule for 700-hour limit and then apply that new rule to the selected employees by populating the Balance Limit field on the Override Tables tab on their LP31 records.

Hi Carla - I did build a new 700 hour limit rule in LP03.4 and then created the limit table in LP04.4 went to LP31 to apply to the specific employee in the Balance Limit field on the Override Table and when I click Change it says "Table does not exist" even though it's in the list of tables. So I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I don't remember anything special I had to do to get this to work but it's been a few years since I've used it. My only suggestion is to double check your set up to be sure it's the way you want it. If everything looks good then you may need to open a case with Xtreme Support.

I had a similar issue recently, but it was with the LP04.2 screen. I needed to create a new accrual table, and could not see my exising accrual tables. They were there, but when I clicked the drop down list, nothing would populate. We had to open a ticket with Infor and Infor had to recompile those tables.

I would open a ticket. We had a similar issue last week and they fixed it for us. It seems to be a known issue. The had to do a recompile.

Before you open a ticket, check the effective date of the override table you are trying to add to the employee....and make sure that it is at least as old as the Master Entry Date of the employee's plan. I dealt with this recently, and when I backdated the override table to match the entry date on LP31, it worked.
