We have IPA's triggered from action request forms and actions. Basically, we want certain actions to be kicked off at various times by our Recruiters during the hiring process. For example, once hired we allow recruiters to create network usernames for the new employee to get scheduled into onboarding and training classes that they need for the first week.
To do this, in configuration console, we have created a form and tied it to the action request configuration. There's not really any need for changes to the action form or data on it. It's just meant as a trigger to the action request to kick off the IPA. They create an action request and kick off the IPA as needed.
Our problem is that in the IPA, we want to close the action request. It won't allow us to close the action request, because it's expecting data changes on the form. We get the following error: "UpdateAction Application Error com.lawson.rdtech.type.ViewException: No persistent or transient fields have been changed"
Has anyone encountered this? Is there a different way to set-up the action form and action request to allow IPA to close the action request without withdrawing or rejecting it? Does there always need to be a changed data field on the form?
