HR06 Add-ins

Hello!

We are moving from Lawson version 901 to Infor Lawson 10x and I'm testing my Add-ins. I'm updating and testing at the same time. I changed my product line to our Cloud product line; however, when I test the Add-in I get the following error "Must inquire before using this function code (_f0). I can't find an KB articles that can help out. Any help is appreciated.

I get the same message when I tried to upload to a User Field on HR11. Interested to hear any responses to this error message.

Generally, this means you're missing the HK (Hidden Key) value. You can find this value pretty easily in Portal or Smart Office: inquire on a valid record in HR06. Then press ctrl + alt + a. Click on "Trans XML" The very last <_FXX> number will contain your HK value needed for updates to the record.

To Add to this. You'll then need to add that _F number to your Addins upload in it's own column.

It would probably be a good idea to go out to the Infor download section and grab a fresh copy of the Excel Add-In templates. There are many that have updated field layouts for v10 (additional ActionNo field for PA52 comes to mind.)
