Process to Upload Pay Changes v10

We currently use Lawson Add-Ins to upload our merit increases for over 30,000 employees. We are moving to Lawson v10 and the upload time, in our testing, has dramatically increased. Has anyone used another process to upload to the PA52.5 as a pending action? The PR120 is not an option for us.

If you have Infor Process Automation (IPA) you could create a flow to load all of the increases. Another thing to look at on your Add-ins, is to check the Enabled Multi-Threaded Requests box. As long as there is only 1 record per employee, this will allow multiple records to be added at a time not just a row at a time.

Is the Security setup the same between the Users you're doing the upload with (check LS = N or Y) and Security Roles. Every record uploaded will call to security to make sure the user is allowed to make the type of change (Add, Change, etc..), the more security an complex, the longer it'll take to upload.

Not "exactly" sure why, but in our testing we found that if we had fiddler running along side of the addins upload, it processed much, much quicker.

I would use pr530 and make it csv file it is much faster than Addins

The PR530 is a time record interface. How would that create pending pay change actions?

I use Hr511 for rate changes and it is also Csv

The HR511 updates the rate immediately. We need to create pending actions so our compensation team can review the pay changes before they are moved to current via the PA100.
