Delete file on remote server using FTP node?

We are loading files from a remote server to our Landmark server via FTP and then processing them. Is there a way to delete the files using our FTP connection IPA? I have not seen anywhere to configure an action like that. Thank you in advance for any feedback.

I do not think you can delete the files by using FTP node in the IPA. For this you can write a .bat file or power shell script and execute it through sys command node in IPA to delete the files.

Per Infor's suggestion when I inquired on this issue, I created an enhancement request (12906) for it. It's status is currently at 'Researching'.

We have file channels set up to process a number of files and in those cases the files are removed from the remote server. The files are saved to the Landmark server so if you don't want to keep them you'd have to set up clean up on the Landmark server.

Is that a file channel setup to an FTP site? We use file channels between Landmark and LSF, but not via FTP.

Yes, file channels using FTP will automatically delete the file when it finds a match. The limitation of not deleting only applies to a flow running a File Transfer/FTP node.

How are you doing this. I am trying to do the same thing. Actually I can send a file to a remote server using FTP node ,but pulling a file from a remote server does not work. Gives me file/folder does not exist. In fact it does this if I drop a file on remote server and then turn around and try to get that exact same file

Actually all I am doing is reversing the source and destination files for sending and retrieving. Im missing something
