Open Enrollment

This will be our first year allowing our employee to enroll in their medical/dental insurance using the open enrollment feature in Lawson. 

I'm wondering how others handle employees choosing a PCP for the HMO Plan.  I don't see an option available in the benefit screens the employee goes through to enroll.

Any information you can give is greatly appreciated.

We were not able to find a way to require this as part of the enrollment in ESS. The employee has to navigate to the Primary Care Physician page to enter. However, we do have an IPA that sends an email to the employee if they are enrolled in the health plan but do not have a PCP selected. In addition, we customized the file to our carrier so that it doesn't include the enrollment for that individual if no PCP is entered. I would be interested if anyone has found a better way to do this.
