Employee Self Service and Beneficiaries

How does other companies handle the beneficiaries in employee self service? I'm trying to decide whether or not to allow the employees to input in this screen due to the rule of adding someone other than your spouse.

We've turned these off in ESS. Too much duplicated entry and no enforcement of rules.

We are about to begin our implementation for Cloudsuite HCM (v11?). We are curious which version of Infor/Lawson you are on where you are having this problem with employees entering beneficiaries and ad to disable the feature in ESS. Thanks for your help!

We kept it off in v8, v9 and v10.

I have no experience with v11. It's a completely different beast.

We're currently upgrading to HCM (GHR) on-premise and you should be able to use configuration console to remove access to that option in Employee Space. Alternatively you could have that action go through a flow that is reviewed by HR before it is approved.
