Roth 403B - BSI Override

We are having an issue with over 50 catch up BSI override for our Roth plan only. Is anyone else encountering the same issue- where the override is not working?(Stopped at 18000) Thanks

Yes, we did have that same issue, and only discovered it a few weeks ago. The issue only occured for our participants that were only making a ROTH deferral and were also match eligible. We had to open a ticket with Infor and they had our payroll change some settings to that one deduction code. It is working correctly now.

Do you have your payment override set up in BSI for the BSIP017(403b) BSIP016(401k) for all appropriate tax authorities?

We don’t have 016. We have 002 which is 403b and 017 which is 403b ROTH. We tried with and w/o. Same results. Tried breaking ROTH out from the 24000 override and created a new one just for ROTH called r24000 and it still didn’t work.

Cyndie - Do you know what setting was changed on the deduction code? Would like to look at our setup in hopes of being proactive versus reactive.

Okay. Looks like you don't have 401Ks. In your BSI client, do you have the BSIP016 code set up in your OVer 50 payment overrides for FEDERAL, VIRGINIA, WEST VIRGINIA etc.?

I'm sorry, I don't know since it was a change done by payroll. I will ask the IT analyst that worked on that ticket to see if they know.

Hello, I work with Cyndie Imler. We didn't change a deduction code. INFOR had us setup a new payment override under our 403B-2 group (this group is the one for 403B IRS Age 50 Catch-Up $24,000).

Authority: Federal, Tax Type: 001-Withholding Tax, Plan/Earning: BSIP017 - 403B ROTH. This resolved our issue. Hope this helps.

Cyndie, I know this was a while back, did you ever find out what settings were changed? We are experiencing this issue as well and cannot find out any reason why it's happening.
