How can I extend our session period before time-out?

We have been on V10 for almost a year now and our users have been complaining about session timeouts, which causes them to have to close out their browsers and lose any work in those browsers. Does anyone know how to or where to go to extend the time period before a timeout? I did some searching but did not find anything in the knowledge base.

(Sorry, it's 3 article and not 2) Also, another point you may want to consider is having users open Lawson in a new IE session. That way if you have issues with Lawson, you won't have to close the non-Lawson browser sessions to restart.

This is a HUGE pain point for our users. We endorsed Enh Request 9223, and the status of this ER has been "researching" (or similar) for over six months now. I recently reached out to our Acct Exec to give this a little more of a push... Are you all receiving the "Invalid XML String" error as well? We've had a ticket open for this since April (probably) and have tried several things, but still do not have this issue resolved. If anyone has words of wisdom on this one, I would greatly appreciate it.

We have had a ticket open relating to this same issue since April 2016 but also the fact if time out hits, we can't get back in to the 's3' side. We are federated wit s3 as primary. We have links from TM employee space to s3.

Can't do log out on TM side.. have to close all browsers.

Finally think identified configuration issue and it's scheduled for 11/19. I can update you and let you know if it fixes issues.

I feel it will fix the authentication issue to s3 side but not sure it fixes the issue where have to close all browsers in order to get back in.

As for the question on the 'xml string not found' I am not having that issue

An update from my side... Infor made the changes last night they said would fix this and it didn't. Same issue persists.

BUT I failed to note in my last update, I don't have an issue in my TEST environment.. all works fine there.

I will let you all know if it gets resolved for me
