Any guidance appreciated---

What exactly is the Data Translation for? Trying to determine if it is even needed for our system. I know it is enabled as default but I understand it can also drain the system.

These are all the Business Subjects associated with Action Reasons. Based on the type of action you are performing the reason needs to be setup under the correct subject. Unfortunately, I can't tell you which subject is associated with each action. We are just being our implementation, but for conversions we have 5 of the Subjects mapped.

Data Translation allows you to translate your application data in multiple languages. For example, in GHR you define your Positions. Those Positions have Descriptions. Data Translation allows you to have a Description in your base language plus any other languages that you want to support so your end-users (internal and/or external) can view the application screens AND your own Position data in their native language.
