Trying WebServices in ION

We have a need to setup webservices to integrate with another non-infor software to support the query for Price and Inventory.

This is first time to deal with such requirement. So to test the webservices in ION I am trying to get currency rate. Created a Web Service Connection Point and loaded the WSDL file provided by the website. Now when I created a document flow starting with webservice connector, then the metadata file generated in the connection point in the middle and finish with LN as the receiving application. Under the notification I have one error, says "Incoming document 'Sync.MyCurrencyExchangeRateMaster' cannot be consumed by connection point 'CurrencyRate'." I would appreciate any possible help in this attempt.

I had the "Receive in application" check, still was getting this error. I got a reply from Infor Support that the name MyCurrencyExchangeRateMaster" should be changed to "CurrencyExchangeRateMaster" to match the name of the std BOD. Did not get the error after changing.

This error means the receiving connection point, (i.e., LN in your case?) is not configured to receive the "Sync.MyCurrencyExchangeRateMaster" BOD. Please go to the Connection point details screen -> Documents Tab -> Select 'Sync.MyCurrencyExchangeRateMaster', mark it as "Receive in application"and 'Save'.
