I need some help to see what others are doing for reporting from LTM v 11 Landmark platform?

We also currently have S3 components of Payroll, GL.  Benefits and Absence Management will convert from S3 v 10 to v11 on LTM Landmark next year.

We are in a total spiral on the right tool to use for getting data out of both LTM and S3 for reporting.

We are own HealthCareAnalytics but don't have it yet implemented and my understanding that is only over the S3 application and will no longer 'work' for version 11

We are evaluating Birst and PowerBI

We 'own' LBI 10.5 but it seems to really only have purpose to have a 'landing' page to link/load ssrs reports.

Any insight would be helpful

We are also an 'Epic' show and would like to go to PowerBI for our organization platform of choice but my concern is getting the 'data' understandable.

That is our biggest struggle.. where is stuff, what tables need joined, how to pull audits (which is awful on the LTM side)

Hi Annette,

We are in a similar position as you (Hybrid S3 V10/LTM environment ). We own healthcare analytics and are struggling to find use for it without us having to rewrite the Dimensions, Measures and KPIs to be more applicable to how we do business. We were able to connect our Analytics to pull from both TM and S3, but as I said before it hasn't been the leap forward we wanted. Currently we use a combination of LBI, sharepoint (SSRS) and PowerBI to accommodate our reporting needs. In LBI we pull from both S3 and LTM depending on the need of the report. We even have published reports that pull data from our Kronos environment for our payroll staff.



We had a Birst demo and it was very "whiz-bang", but we thought the same thing with HCAnalytics too two years ago and are now on the verge of abandoning it. So, needless to say we aren't going to be early adopters of Birst at this point.



For Epic, we are using PowerBI as the tool to access their cogito db and for now I think this is the tool that will be preferred going forward here. I think there is a vision in our org to build out the Lawson and Kronos datasources in a way that we can pull across all the major platforms (EPIC, LAWSON, KRONOS) but we are just starting to architect the Lawson and Kronos bits now.
