JT environment patch installation help

Hello, I have questions on how to apply JT. It is my first time doing this so I want to make sure I have correct instructions. Is there an online instruction I can get to?

I opened the JAR file, looked at "Perms" file and all directories with prefix "inst". There are information in both places. Where do I start? Do I use Perms as a base, or do I loop through all inst directories and run install? Please advise.

Thanks. My issue is that I don't know which one. Is the Infor Lawson Core Technology Installation Guide - UNIX version 10.0.9.0 the right one?

JT's can relate to both application patches and environment patches. What's the name of the download file? If it's something like "10.0_patch_116555.tar" then it's an application patch and you can use the Enterprise Application Installation Guide. If you have a *bunch* of these, definitely take advantage of the staging process outlined in that guide. If the file download looks like "LSFCT_AIX71_10000900P42347.zip" or "XML_10000900P41451.zip" then it's environment/portal and you can use the guide you found, the sections on updates.
