Automatically print drawing with work order

I'm afraid I'm missing something basic. I've attached drawings to the part (part maintenance), the engineering master, and the work order. I'm hoping I can print a drawing linked to part/EM/WO automatically when I print a work order, so it goes to the floor with the work order. I've checked "Print associated documents" in the Work Order Traveller print dialog. No luck.

Am I missing something, or is this not possible?

How have you attached the Drawings? I believe the "Print Associated Documents" check box in the Work Order Traveller only prints documents stored in the the "Doc Ref" button option on the E/M Header Card.

If you've saved your Drawing in the "Set Picture/ Object" option on the E/M Header Card, I don't think it prints. I dimly recall Pict/Object is for when viewing the E/M onscreen, but I could be wrong...

Using v8.0, I've added it under the Config Management tab in Part Maintenance, under the General tab in the Engineering Master white card, and under the General tab in the work order white card. I've tried PDFs and DWGs, to no avail.

Add to Doc Reference for the Part ID, this will then copy to the header of the EM when creating an EM. If an EM already exists, add to Doc Reference at the Header of the EM. Create your WO using the EM and the drawing will follow. If no EM, you'll need to add to Doc Reference at the header of the WO, then it will print when choosing Print Associated Documents.
