We have been on Lawson since 2001 (and have never purged data) and have recently ran into an issue getting someone paid. Last payroll, we received a PR140 fatal error "PRDED-DED-TABLE must be increased; Cur size 0500". We followed instructions in an old KB article 1196880 (along with Infor support assistance) stating to increase the table sizes in lawdir/productline/prsrc/prwslib/PRDEDWS from 500 to 999, recompiled and the payroll ran fine.
Now, on the current production payroll, the PR140 is going into Needs Recovery with a generic message "153 error message text not found". The PR140 is getting stuck on this same employee. In analyzing the tables, she is the only employee who has a record count over the 500-level mark in the EMDEDMASTR table, so we still feel the error is related to the working storage somewhere. We are having the same issue on our TEST productline where she is over the 500-level mark, but we do not have an issue in our DEV productline where she is under the 500-level mark. We can delete her PR36 time record and the payroll completes fine. We are not able to create a PR80 manual check on her in PROD or TEST, but can in DEV. Has anyone ran into this error?
