Payroll YE - JT-1095462

Wondering if anyone else has installed JT-1095462? If so, did it affect more than just the year end programs?

It was my understanding that the CTP's involved with Payroll YE were isolated to the year end programs. Below are the programs that will be compiled with this patching 117037 (we are 10.0.6). Some, including the BN100, PR140, etc. are critical processing programs.

Yes, we have that CTP installed. Your list of compiled programs looks very similar to ours. Actually, ours is about twice as big as yours... We are 10.0.6 as well.

So... not quite twice as big, but there are differences. Perhaps different CTPs that we've installed or you've installed.

Are you all considering not installing into production right away to allow for time to test?

We always test first. Not sure how long before they are "required" to be in prod tho.

The one you are referencing here is new and is to be applied AFTER you install the year end CTP. If other programs are being compiled it means that a library file was changed/updated during the installation and any programs that call that library need to be compiled. Not sure if that helps.

Hi

We have installed this patch and it appears that the PR128 will take the first PTO day and then pulls in the decremented PTO balance. Has anyone seen this in their testing?

I have applied Payroll YE, CTP117037 & CTP117217 (released 1/8/18), but we are still having issue with our header with the PR299 submission to BSO and have a case open with Extreme. Has anyone else had their PR299 submission accepted?

Hey Mike - I noticed that the header on our PR299.csv file was wonky while testing the YE patch. I openend a case with Xtreme and they said they could not reproduce the error. Is this the file you are talking about? If so, I found that if I filled in the override path field on PR299 and ran the job, the PR299 created in the override folder was OK. It was only when I let the PR299.csv go to my print folder that I saw the issue with the header.

Thanks Patti, sent your tip on to our PR person and she ended up populating the Notify tab on the job and the issue went away.

Thanks Mike! I filled in the Notify tab on my job and reran, but still got the gross header. So maybe it is some weird combination of conditions that is causing the issue. Would you mind sharing your case number? I would like to put it in my case, so that they are aware that I am not the only customer experiencing weirdness with the PR299.csv header. It might help them troubleshoot.
