we are using the F9 key from the AP20.1 and we are on V10

Hyland Imaging services scans and indexes for us. If we have to manually index an invoice, we do that directly in OnBase.

I was interested in this thread. We discovered an issue using Application Enabler in OnBase when we applied an ESP and MSP to our version 10 system. We can work in portal but not with Ming.le as Ming.le cannot seem to get the transaction number.

We haven't been able to use the "screen scrape" functionality via Ming.le since we went live on v10 (10.0.7app/10.0.9lsf). Our AP users go straight to Portal for this. I've been following up with Infor. This is the latest note I received just yesterday on ticket 11446737 :

After having discussion with both Lawson Dev and Ming.le Dev, the advice is you need to submit an enhancement request to be reviewed by the Mingle development team. You can go and create this using InforXtreme. From the Resources menu, select Enhancement Request System.

But if this is really a feature that you need however, you should really consult with your Account Executive about getting ICS involved to build a custom solution for this concern.

Here is detailed information from Rajan Shanmugavelu from Infor:

The background here is, customers were using screen scraping tools (3rd party) to obtain information from Lawson User Experience (Lawson portal) or other apps in the previous releases (v9). Now with the v10 release, all Infor ERP applications run within the Infor Ming.le UX as an iFrame. Due to iFrame restrictions, the 3rd party tools that customers were using to screen scrape, no longer work.

There have been conversations prior about customers leveraging the Infor Business Context Message (IBCM) which we subscribe to obtain information from the Lawson v10 User Experience (Lawson portal).

Hi MaryBeth, We don't use OnBase, but we do a similar process with Laserfiche. We accomplish this in v10 (and also when we were v9) by using Design Studio and JavaScript to access screen variables from the Ming.le screen. These variables are then used as inputs into the Laserfiche import tool. The JavaScript code fires up the Laserfiche import tool prepopulated with the variable values from the Lawson screen.

Not sure if this would help in your case, but I can send snippets of the JavaScript if you think it may help.

FYI - In summary here's what we do

export autofill keyword (index) interface file from Lawson and load it nightly into OnBase
AP users scan invoices, do document separation, index by entering voucher number and rest of index data autofills, and save

We also use Application Enabler for Smart Office (only thing we run) but at this time only for AP90.1 (Invoice Search by Vendor ...) and AP90.3 (Invoice Search by Voucher) in V10.

We also have a periodic process that exports data for indexed invoice images out of OnBase to compare to a similar export of what's stored in Lawson to make sure we haven't missed any invoice scanning / indexing.

MaryBeth's is very similar to ours. We are using portal not Ming.le for our screen scraping on AP20. We are creating Design Studio screens on various transactions. There is a button which retrieves the document using something like:

On some screens, I also have buttons so that I can pull up the document tied to the record displayed by coding function BUTTON_OnClick(id, row). I was trying to get AP drill on GL lines. My issue is that I would have multiple AP invoices, and I did not know how to do a docpop with multiple values on a keyword. I never thought of the Crystal option.
