I went thru this exercise yesterday. The Client tool is modified but there is no Cycle file to run in. The URL does not change from R to R1 but if you look at the About screen after applying the client upgrade there it says R1.

Was there an update on the Install password?

(I seem to have problems locating it on the BSI website).

There is a pdf that lists the steps to follow. It says that the password is the same for R1 as for R.

terrib - How do you find out which are optional and which are mandatory? We nearly missed the update to R.

Lawson sends out Critical Notifications for Mandatory BSI Updates (If you are subscribed to Critical Notifications on the Lawson Xtreme site) and then directs you to MyBSI website for details. The documentation for R1 on the BSI site states that this update is optional.

I did not get a Critical Notification from Lawson for R1.

I did not get the critical notification for R which is why I am skittish. I asked Lawson about how to subscribe since I thought I was but apparently am not, but did not receive a satisfactory answer.

Can you send me the steps for that so I can check my subscriptions?

I'm not sure if I got a CN from Lawson for BSI Cycle R either, come to think about it. But I did get a notification from myBSI.
