Shift + F10 Not Working after Upgrade to Windows 7
jason-bone
Hopefully this is correct area for this question. We use S3 Lawson 9.0.1.7 Interface Desktop (LID). When in a program via pgmdef we used to be able to do F10 to go to top of program and Shift F10 to go to bottom of program. Since we upgraded to Windows 7, the Shift F10 no longer works to go to bottom of program. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and is there a setting to change or a fix for it?

I don't see that this has been resolved. It sounds like the Key Definition got reset somehow. Did you try going to the Define (F6) in a LID file and selecting Keys to redefine the Shift-F10?

Thank you Sharon b. Yes, Keys still shows F-10 and Go To End Of File. We have tried to overlay existing with same and save but this did not work either.

I thought you'd probably done that, but sometimes I miss the obvious. I've not had this problem. Sorry. Hope someone can offer a solution for you.

Try modifying the Windows settings of program UNIVWIN32.EXE. Tell Windows to
"Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
whatever you used previously.
If you have lots of free time, try downloading and running newer/older versions of LID and see if you can get what you want.

Shift+F10 is actually a shortcut combo for Windows - it pulls up the context menu. It's also one of the more commonly 'hijacked' keys for 'helper programs' that sit in the background waiting for an activation key to do whatever they are meant to do.
Before you do too much work you might want to make sure your keypress is actualy making it to the LID. There are a few 'keypress' programs out there that do nothing but let you smash keys on the keyboard and report what keys actualy were passed over to.
